OT, but for any interested, tomorrow, 9 Feb 05, is the Lunar New Year. It is the year of the rooster. The current year, at least until tomorrow, is the year of the monkey, and next year will be the year of the dog.
For more than you probably want to know about lunar (emphasis on Chinese) new years, try http://www.new-year.co.uk/chinese/calendar.htm
And for the Korean slant on it, go to http://www.clickasia.co.kr/about/h0101.htm which includes activities, foods, etc.
Happy New Year everybody at RFF !!

I also know that if the answer sounds anything like " bow chuei " - I would have to retreat to drawing things up..
wanna learn both languages (japanese and mandarin) though..
cheers,
phil
