I'm very near to abandon dslr systems...
the ring adaptor, though it is the cheaper one (65 EU shipped from china) fits perfectly.

Hello:
How simple/complex is it to set up for manual focus? Can this be done as the default?
The 35 Summicron looks as if it belongs on the NEX (heresy).
Thanks for the post.

focusing is very simple and fast.
the lower button switches to 7x or 14x vision, then when you touch the shutter everything turn to normal

Looks great. I'm gonna be on board soon as well. One thing, the corner issues of wide lenses tend to be at infinity focus, because that brings the rear element very close to the sensor. Do you have any examples of a scene that has the corners at infinity with the Summicron 35? Thanks.

良かったね!
I can only imagine the ergonomics of that 1.1 on this body.

Thanks for posting. Great shots and the lenses don't look out of place on the Nex.

It's the Nex that looks out of place behind the lens
Frankly it looks like sticking a battery charger behind those cool lenses.
But, I guess as long as it produces good pictures...

It does look small but the aftermarket may do something about that.
You hit it spot on. All that matters is the final photos.

That camera is tiiiiiny. If that had been out when I bought my EP1 I probably would have got the nex instead just because of size.
Looks like the nokton's 1.1 shots are still suffering from that crop factor making the DOF not as crazy as 1.1 should be. Still its a neat idea, and the less crop is nice compared to m4/3.

Swank little setup. I am having a hard time getting over the lack of an EVF, though. When you want to take the picture, you must "chimp" to achieve proper focus. Quite a strain on my bi-focal'd eyes. I don't like doing it on the E-P2 and MUCH prefer the auxiliary EVF. How well are users coping with this "feature"?

rumors say that an EVF will come in september, with other nex accesories

IF the EVF does come, I will buy one in September. You just can't shoot pictures with the camera like that and expect them to be sharp at slower speeds.

Ride, dive, shoot.
1.5x crop factor is great. This is one thing that I'm not happy with my E-PL1. Too much crop, too much bouncing light in camera when you want to use "full frame" lenses.
If they come up with EVF for NEX, I might jump onto it although I'm not a big fan of Sony in general.

Hi, luuca. Very nice pics.
Have you tried shooting some video with your Leica M lenses? Are you able to adjust the Aperture directly on the lens and the NEX-5 is fine with the changes? I'm thinking that might be an advantage to using 3rd party lenses with the NEX-5 with video, it being able to manually adjust aperture directly on the lens, since it's not possible to do so with the menu in the NEX-5.

These look great. I may take the plunge. What metering are you using? Because some seem just a tad hot.
