M10 Specs Up

Looks like a great camera... but I doubt either it or the ME will be anywhere near being "cheap."

At least partially weather sealed, good news.

"Special rubber seals now protect the camera body against dust, spray and moisture."

6400 ISO, that's pretty hilarious. Haha. Splash proof is good though. Although that means eff all, define "splash"? Better than nothing perhaps.

$6300 US is the cheap option... you gotta laugh at that man.

If you just got some money and want a Leica, would you buy an M9 or a ME?

ME. Because it has faster write speed compared to M9, not to mention it will be serviced for a bit longer.

Leica has survived all this time, not because its unique and so on, but because its run by very smart people.

I feel like nostradamus. Should I quote my previous post from another thread where I said they will add features that are a generation old and ad $9000 price tag?

It might be shockingly revolutionary to some and immorally expensive to others (or both), but I have to admit, with some considerable reluctance, that this camera comes closest to what I would consider the ultimate camera. Closer than the OM-D, the RX-1, the NEX-6, the D600/D800 or the XPro-1.
