Anybody have any information about a m42 adapter that works?

I purchased a kipon m42 to fuji x-pro1 adapter on ebay. Unfortunately, there is a ridge on the inside of the adapter that locks down the aperture adjustment lever (making up my own terminology here) when the adapter is fitted to the lens. The lever I'm talking about is the small piece of metal that moves as the aperture is changed. The ridge locks it down, potentially harming the lens, but also making it impossible to change the aperture.

I'd be very, very grateful for any information about m42 adapters that actually work. I'm eager to try out my macro takumars on the camera.

Thank you.

Update -- kipon adapter works with my 100/4 macro tak, but not my 50/4. The aperture adjustment flange is inside of the adapter's ridge with the 100/4, but is squished and locked down on the 50/4.

Information regarding a good adapter that will work with both lenses would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up about the Rayqual adapters.

Stephen, when you get them in, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know whether they work with all m42 lenses or whether there is an internal flange / hinge that might prevent operation with certain lenses (like the kipon).

Cheers.

Ah, my problem is not with the pin but with the tab that apparently they recommend taking a dremel to. I dont think I'm willing to potentially mangle my favorite lens. :)

Thanks for the info though.
