I am thinking of selling my M6 and buying a MP, but have no idea what I can ask for it, because the ordinary M6 sells for very little at the moment and I would be very pleased with some suggestions.

The camera is a M6 classic with a M6J viewfinder (0.85x VF and 35,50,90,135mm frames) so the viewfinder is very uncluttered.

The classic M6 with 0.85x VF has never been produced in chrome, only the very special 40th Anniversary M6J produced in 1994.

I bought the camera new and ordered the M6J viewfinder "a la carte" and it is still flawless.

If I decide to sell the camera I will put it on RFF classifieds first.

Well, since no one else has responded...you have to decide yourself what you are asking for the camera based on the market. The first place I would start would be to check with the major camera stores like: KEH, B&H Photo, Adorama and such.

Sounds like a very nice camera. Good luck!!!😀

Hi Freusen,
Any particular reason you'd want to replace this with an MP? You have a beautiful M6, and it already has the nice M6J viewfinder and older style film advance. Why not keep it in the family as a potential back-up body and save up for an MP?
Best,
Raymond
