There has been a thread recently on finder upgrades on M6/M6 TTL.
I have just had mine done and it's great. Clarity seems a little better but the biggest difference is that I can't get it to flare /white- out. It was quite prone to this and was useless under certain conditions.
I've since tried it at all angles under bright sunlight and various lighting but to no avail. Perfect!
It was carried out at Leica UK in Milton Keynes but the cost is something I can't be specific about. It went in to have the sticking frame lines cleaned and so I requested the modification at the same time whilst it was all apart.
When I first bought the M6 TTL last year I enquired about the upgrade and was told it was (I forget exactly how much) around £250 - I think.
Give 'em a call.
