I saw a 60mm Hexanon appear on a classifieds in France on Thursday and after 24 hours thinking about reasons not to buy it ... I bought it. I now own one the 800 that were made.
So I took it today to a famous French Horse race with wonderfully dressed women and extravagant hats. I know there are few samples of this lens on the web (I noticed while researching it), so here is a slideshow (click on picture to launch it) :

I am still getting used to focusing it, mostly wide open. Missed the focus a few times but it handles so well. Much smaller and lighter than the Noctilux, shallower DOF wide open and a perfect match for the 50mm framelines of the M8 (non upgraded)

That FL is made for the M8.
There were comments about the difficulty of getting it to focus throughout the aperture range on an M8. Take your time and please get back to us on your experience. Thanks!

Who cares about the lens :p ... that was a great set of photos, and I love the music. Merci!

Really great set, you had a couple of real standouts in there, but honestly the whole series goes well together. That consistent pastel and creamyness looks great!

thanks for all the comments.
To answer DennisPT, this is a screw mount lens so I have mounted it on a 50/75 Leitz adapter so it brings the 50mm framelines. These are almost a perfect match for the 60mm FOV of the Hexanon due to the safety factor.
