Sweet! A nice combo for gigs.
It worked quite well indeed. I only found that the lens flared quite a bit at times, sometimes with visible reflections, and at other times huge loss of contrast

You're using a UV/IR filter, I'd imagine? Causing little green blobs? I didn't have any strong lights in my case (and used it on an M9 w/o filter) so I can't say either way...
I find the hardest part is focusing in the dark some times, especially after a few pints... Heh.
Focussing takes a little more time indeed, and at f/1.1 it's a real challenge
I wasn't using an UV/IR filter. I'm aware of the green blobs the effects of lights on them, which is why I never use an UV filter for "protection", and only use IR/UV on the Leica to avoid the black to magenta problem.
This one has the reflections, not too bad imho, unless they occur somewhere in the frame where you really don't want them

Whereas this flare totally lost all contrast:

Hmm, it certainly does flare a bit in these cases. Though I'm not sure - I think I kind of like it. I guess as long as it doesn't do it ALL the time...
Yeah, it's not too bad, and some are even salvageable by increasing blacks a LOT to bring back some contrast

Good work, it seems like that combo worked well for you...

Nice shots, what iso did you shot at?

640 mostly, 1250 is also usable, but there was no need to go there. I could shoot most at f/2 to f/3.2

Nicely exposed pictures in a tricky situation. I like them.
