This may have been discussed previously, however I am curious as to how one determines the number of shutter actuations the camera has experienced.

Could it be the exposure total count? My images provide a continuouse exposure count number.

this would not do because one could reset the count number.
i would be interested to know if there is an actual way to figure out how many times the shutter took place too.

Load up one of your files in the latest 'irfanview' (Google it). And then check the metadata of the file. If it's recorded it should be there.

It appears that INFRANVIEW is not supported by Apple OS !0. IS there another "Reader" that one can use with APPLE OS. Thank you.

The image browser I like best (so far) for the Mac is "Xee". It's simple and free:ableforensics said:It appears that INFRANVIEW is not supported by Apple OS !0. IS there another "Reader" that one can use with APPLE OS. Thank you.
