M8 vanity

My M8 slipped quietly out of warranty a few days after I got it back from Leica NJ for the hot pixel/red line issue.
At the same time, I had a bunch of old junk parts cameras lying around.

Being a fan of the Yashica Electro 35 cameras I took the logo off of my hopelessly broken GTN, cut it circular, and voila!

If I have to return the camera for any service, this may either make Leica NJ chuckle or furious. Either way, I like it.

Call me a heretic, it's just a camera.

I just wish the 45mm f/1.7 from the Electro 35 series was available in LTM or M mount. I know someone did a conversion to M but that workaround is both expensive and very time consuming. If the Yashica of old could have only known how much of a cult lens they had on their fixed RF's.
