Don't know Robin Liss, but I agree; even a cursory experience leads me to be thankful she was mostly out of the picture.

I was wondering the same thing about the sensor bunnies that inevitably show up with digital cameras with interchangeable lenses.. I have a Canon 20d and from time to time the sensor needs a cleaning.

So it has sensor cleaning capabilities.. big deal. It's not going to be a deal maker or breaker...

It's just a setting to hold the shutter open to access the sensor - like every DSLR has.

Usually a sensor cleaning mode also turns off power to the CCD, so it doesn't build up a static charge that would hold onto dust while you're cleaning it.
