M9 and CV 90/3.5 Lanphar

Any of you using that lens with your M9? Any of you aware of any incompatibilities between the M9 and the 90 mounted with the adapter? I'm looking to sell mine and a gentleman who has expressed interest has PM'd me saying that he has a friend who is knowledgeable in Leica M9 and he says that the 90 has rangefinder coupling problems preventing any focus except "zone focusing."

I'd appreciate any thoughts you might help me with,

The rangefinder coupling on the M9 is exactly the same on the M9 as on any other M camera. The DR Summicron, one or two collapsible lenses and very old extreme wideangles cannot be used because of space constrictions. For the rest no problems. Maybe the gentleman has heard that it is normal that lenses from the film era sometimes have to be adjusted to narrower tolerances. That, however, is unproblematic.
