The fastest camera I ever owned is M4-2 with 35 2.5 Summarit-M.

Assuming film is in, I walk as usual.... something is worth and often spontaneous.
And...
I cock the schutter, speed is already determined and so is aperture, just quick dial of the focus tab.

Quick&Easy.
All I have to do is to keep my brain in use and adjust to changing S16.

With M-E 220 it is cluttered and not as precise as M4-2 shutter speed dial. I can't change it without looking. Too many useless speeds.

The only ergonomical tool available is aperture ring on the lens...

M-E 220 is not lethargic from sleep mode if it is on manual. I press shutter button, it fires. In auto (priorities) , it is soo slow to wake up, measure and fire.

Anyone has workaround to use M9 as fast as film M?

I don't mind to change batteries as often as film in Winogrand's style.
