A short time ago I noticed a strange behavior on the LCD of my M9 when I viewed an image at maximum magnification while moving it around the screen. The image would break up into large pixels, as though I were looking at the image at, say, 200%. At the same time the original image was replaced by another, typically the previous (adjacent) one in the stack. The effect was not always present.

I called Leica NJ, and it was suggested that my 2-3 year old Sandisk Ultra, 8GB cards were at fault, an aging effect. I followed a suggestion by Jaapv and switched to new Panasonic 8 GB/Go cards. That seemed to have solved the problem, until it didn't. Now I see the same problem on the (new) Panasonic card.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

(BTW, just an unrelated data point: the sensor on this camera, although it has never been cleaned, is absolutely pristine, no visible spots or defects of any kind.)
