M9 Sensor Corrosion - Leica Store Istanbul

Hi all,

I suspect the sensor is starting to corrode as I have spots which cannot be removed (multiple swipes using VDUST-VPLS-2902544 Visible Dust cleaning solution).

I'm currently based in Turkey which according to Leica's official website has no shop - only affiliates.

Has anyone here used such affiliates for anything other than purchases? I'm a little hesitant to hand over the camera...

Why don't you just contact Leica Wetzlar and arrange for an UPS pickup? That will enable Leica to handle customs problems, should any arise. And it is a lot faster than going through a shop. I would be very hesitant to use any shop other than an authorized dealer anyway.

EU and Turkey are in customs union anyway, so that should not be a problem here.
