Ok, sorry for the mixup with double threads. I was having issues months back with logging in, made a new name and left it logged in on Firefox. Recently, switched to Firefox, and thought I had switched. Oops!

Anyway, my wife and I went to Madagascar in May of this year. I am finally getting down to writing about it and posting it. let me know what you think.

Wonderful. Such a great place for photographs. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

That 3rd image has a really great feeling to it. What were you shooting with?

It was a good trip, I would probably go other places first before going back here, though. I'd do that canoe trip again in a heartbeat, though.

Hasselblad 501c, Fuji GF670w, and a 6x14 pano camera.

Ah, was guessing maybe a FujiGF! Love the look of that on color film.

Just saw some reports that the unrest and violence from the north may be moving south. Some recent attacks in Antananarivo. That’s a city I would have liked to been able to explore more. We were mostly in the parks and villages south of there last year.

What’s next on your wish list?

I haven't heard any of that, but my wife was more in-tune to what was going on there. I just went along for the ride.

Next on my wishlist? That is a tough one. The next trip we haven't bought tickets for is a drive from Johannesburg to the Skeleton Coast through Botswana and Zimbabwe. But We are going to Jordan in 3 weeks, Finland in January, and Tibet in April.
