Just a couple of days ago I booked flights for me & my wife to Madrid for a week in beginning of November. As I haven't been in the city before, I was wondering if any of the forum members would have recommendations for a reasonably priced (+/- 100 eur/night) hotel with a central location, yet not too noisy?
Also, any recommendations on where to go, what so see & where to eat would be more than welcome!

For what you want to pay, you'll find a lot of hotels in the downtown but take a look at that place

No noise, confortable..i stay here few days in a trip with friends, and it's a really good place..
About where to go..Madrid is a great place for take pictures,
Plaza mayor, rastro (flea market) on sundays, La latina (for pinxos/tapas), Mercado de San miguel, Palacio real, Museo del Prado..
Sure some one from Madrid will give you better advise!

Thanks, I'll write them down for reference! I'm staying at my friends place, so I'm lucky I don't have to worry about a hotel
