"Making Pictures" column

Only 5 images from the article are shown on my pc, all other links are broken (approx. 55), happens with IE and firefox. Who experiences the same problem ?

I'm glad you found it useful. Ben is one of the best respected photography writers and critics in the world. I have never in my life met anyone who understands visual art better than Ben. He's also gotten very good at putting that understanding across in a way that's easily accessible and understandable to many people.

I found it great when it started to turn pictures into their bare bone components (can't find a better way to describe it), and then came the relations with so many famous images and photographs from so many different ages, as I said I'm also impressed as that looks like an herculean effort.

Schaubild, I'm using firefox, didn't try with IE, sometimes had those problems with a full IE cache, have you tried deleting the temp files ?
 
I'm using IE 6 and all the pictures came in. Try e-mailing Michael Tapes who runs the site and see if there might be any reason for a conflict with your browser. His e-mail will be linked on the site.

i'm using ie also and some of the pics do not show.
but you can right click and hit 'show picture' and they pop up.

I use Firefox 1.0 and at first many of the images didn't show on the page, but one click of the Refresh button fixed that.
 
I could read the article fine with Firefox. The organization of the site leaves a bit to be desired though. Try finding all the articles in this series ...

Took forever till all the pics loaded (even though I'm on a cable modem), but it worked (with WinXP, Firefox, ZoneLabs firewall).
