Mamiya 6 MF and IR film

Question regarding using IR film in a Mamiya 6 MF. Will the curtain/blind used for lens changes be enough to prevent fogging with IR film? It should be but I just wanted to make sure before I try it out.

I suppose. It's like a darkslide in most magazines. The danger is when changing film, not when changing lenses.

I use a Mamiya 6 and IR film. Never had any problems when changing lenses, but I always try and shield the open lens mount from direct sunlight when doing so.
