Mamiya 6MF with NPC Polaroid Back

I recently got Mamiya 6 mf that came with npc polaroid back

I don't really need the polaroid back but decided to give it a try and bought some expensive fuji fp100c

Before i start wasting the shoot (money), i would like to ask how this thing going to work actually? The shutter won't release except there's film in the camera or with the back door open, will the shutter release once i put the fuji fp100c inside the polaroid back?

Any thoughts will be highly appreciated
