I have lent my M7, now I´ve got it back without the lenshood. :bang:
Do you know if there is a non custom lenshood from accessory stores, which can be used without affecting the range finder and light meter?

I am afraid there is no 3rd party hood. Mine also chipped/broke some time back. Those hoods are flimsy. I had to order a new one from B&H. You may search KEH as well.

The only solutions are a) get an exact replacement hood, or b) get a 67mm screw-in generic hood. I'd ask your friend for option a.
The screw-in generic hood does not affect anything likt the rangefinder or the lightmeter? Actually I found the original hood a bit cumbersome to use...
