Hi All,
Apologies if this question has been asked before. I searched and wasn't able to find anything.
I've been shooting with my Mamiya 7ii and 80mm lens for some time and everything has worked perfectly. The rangefinder focuses to infinity (but not past) and the images look sharp.
However, I just picked up at 65mm lens and it won't focus to infinity. That is, the ghost image in the rangefinder won't quite budge over to infinity. The focus ring itself turns all the way to infinity smoothly, but what I see in my focus patch never quite lines up. Putting the 80mm lens back on, everything looks good again at all distances.
Has anyone run into a similar problem? It doesn't seem like it's the camera itself that needs adjustment. Rather, the lens seems to be the problem. From what I can tell the rangefinder coupling lever on the lens seems normal and undamaged, so I'm perplexed. Any thoughts?
