Yes the folding one! Last year I bought a Mamiya Six Automat from Japan, long story short the glass has been etched by fungus, and will not give good images. So last night I came across a listing on the Bay of Pigs from seller 2015jpsames (item no. 222925697656 ) which is a set of glass for a Mamiya Six; he has a few of these available it seems. I dropped him a line to see if it would fit the Automat, and he thinks so but is not sure, his words are "I have sold many Mamiya 6 cameras and all have just the same mount. Maybe OK, to fit your camera too.". Mine can be seen here www.flickr.com/photos/bikeguruuk/albums/72157686704823046
Anyone know if the non-Automat lenses would fit mine? there isn't a great difference in models, really it's just the automatic shutter tensioning. There have been a lot of different shutters etc. on this series though. The glass is the only problem on my camera, it would be great to get it fixed up. Rear element unscrews on its own, front two are combined in one housing, I seem to remember they cannot be separated.

I have just promised to try and remember to check my Welta for another member, if I don't forget. If I don't forget, I will try to look at the two Mamiya Six cameras I have to see if they appear to have the same distance from the film plane, which I suspect would mean they are interchangeable. But I know some of the frames were different. Some had part of the flash mechanism on the top front, some did not. There were also at least two different lenses, maybe three.

I checked the two I have at home last night. There was about 1 mm difference between them when measuring from the plate the lense is in, to the top of the film holder. I don't know how much difference that would make.

BTW, does you film plane move in and out when turning the thumb wheel?

Thanks, sorry it's been a while. I bought the lens set anyway, and while the thread sizes are indeed the same, the Automat has an extra waisted part of the middle element housing for the cocking ring to rotate around (part of the "auto" bit). I've put it to one side but i might have another look and see if I can just take that off - I think the glass itself will sit in the same place. I also bought a case as the Automat has the tripod bush at one end instead of in the middle - but the case isn't tall enough! Not very auspicious all round.
Yes the focusing is the same as the various normal Mamiya Sixes, moving film plane.

Great on the film plane. A couple of years ago there was a spate of Mamiya Six cameras being sold missing the springs for the film plain apparatus (neat word, huh?). Don't ask how I know.

Luckily I have a friend with access to a well stocked machine shop.
