I bought a like new Yashica GSN from Ebay and knew it needed work since it was sitting for awhile. Very sluggish shutter and other issues due to non use. I sent to Mark Hamma and got it back on my desk in 7 days!

I cannot believe the fast turnaround! The camera is just brand new!

This from a guy who has been fustrated by service at Leica NJ on more than one occasion.

Yes... Hamma is the man. Sent a few cameras to him over they years. They come back practically new, fast turn-around, and his prices are reasonable relative to other repair places. My suggestion to those who are into Yashicas (and other fixed lens RFs) is get a decent sample at a decent price, don't be disappointed at its condition upon receipt ... expect it to have issues, and just build in a trip to Hamma into your camera budget... For around $100, give or take, you'll get yourself a great camera - be it a Lynx 14, a GSN or whatever in truly mint condition from a user standpoint...

I sent Mark a Lynx 14e about 4 years ago. The turn around was longish. The work was as expected from an industry veteran and legend. Glad to hear the cycle has shortened.

I think there was a time when he was inundated with MAT 124 repairs. I have always heard good about his work on the TLRs. I didn't know he also worked on FFL RF as well.

He did a MAT 124 for me over the holidays and it was fast. Very nicely done, too. It even had a new camera smell when it came back to me.
