I removed my (fairly new) Mac Book Pro from the power suppy today for some tethered shooting with my Canon 5DII in Lightroom. I shot about ten frames with the camera controlled via the computer and after 20-30 minutes I put the camera away again. 10 minutes later when I woke up the Mac from it's sleep state and was surprised to see that the battery only showed 4% (30min) left. Before it was on 100%
Is there anything about tethered shooting that drains the battery more than normal? Is my new MBP's battery defective? Or was the indicator simply showing me a wrong number? I did have the computer hooked up to the power supply for the last few days. Does that mess with it??
