are ready to rumble!

the 75 finder arrived today so that takes care of the long end of things. it's nice and small and suits the cle well. i was surprised at the difference in view from the 90mm framelines.

and the 40/2 rokkor arrived today also!! this will go into my daily carry bag as my everyday kit.

as soon as my 35/1.4 arrives (is is march yet?) i just might be d o n e...

Been a long time since I posted here.. but it's good to see Joe go back to the CLE. We humans tend to zoomorphise a little too much, but that is one endearing little camera. Even when I'm simply not using it, it is too hard to part with. In some ways, it is like your favorite dog :). Good luck finding peace with CLE/40mm. A true step towards simplifying your life.

Joe, should things change... you never know... can I please be 1st in line for the CLE? I was silly to sell mine a long time ago and miss it a lot.

andy, you most certainly may!!

but, i'm thinking of trying to find a second one...maybe someone would to trade a new cv 75 for a user cle?

Joe, What makes you want a second CLE?
GAS of course, I presume.

The interesting question is: What will go out of your daily carry bag instead?

I didn't mean that to sound like a criticism, I was just asking in the spirit of the thread what you will be using it for and the type of kit you were building. I have a CLE with a CL back up.

james, it didn't sound critical at all to me, sorry if my reply indicated that.

al, i was thinking the p's last night, we had some good times together...;)

So you prefer to have two identical camera bodies when you go out shooting as opposed to say using one CLE and your R4a?

i much prefer 2 identical bodies but have relaxeda bit now by having only m mount bodies.
if i could find another a cheap cle though, i would go for that.

Palaeoboy has a new CLE in a box that he wont sell me. I offered a fair 200 dollars for it, after all it doesn't meter in manual LOL

Let's see, all Joe needs is to get a few Canon Ps, and he'll have gone full circle here...

:D Good one, Al! ... I almost spit the soft drink onto the laptop screen! Nice to see that as I return fully recovered from my digital-illness that nothing has changed! Go get 'em, Joe!
