Meike 2.8/28 Fuji-X : image quality, design, customer service

Bought last spring a Meike 2.8/28 manual focus for my Fuji XE-2. Image quality is good (see below full image, and 100% scale crop). That is the good news.

The not-so-good news.

• The aperture scale is... strange. See picture. Could it be that something is missing?
• The DOF scale is also strange. The f/5.6 mark is about twice as far from center as f/2.8as it should. But, the f/22 mark is just 50% further out than f/5.6, when it should be 4x farther.

And the bad news.

• When focused at infinity using the focus assist of the XE-2, the distance scale is half-way between infinity and 2m, i.e. where the 4m would be if present. • The face ring (with lens name etc) is also the filter attachment thread. First time I screwed/unscrewed a filter, the face ring rotated; following that the focus ring rotation is restricted, and infinity (scale or real) cannot be reached until the original position of the face ring is restored. Which will not last, because it moves freely.
