Hello @all,
since a couple of weeks I own an R-D1 (updated to R-D1s), being happy with ist. But, a few days ago I got a minor problem: when selecting the main menu it isn't possible to select the menu items by the jog dial. The dial is fixed on "camera settings" which I can open and then select the other items without any problem.
Does anyone know about this problem? What to do? For sure it is a software problem, not one of the jog dial, since I can turn it within the menu "camera settings", and select all items in it.
How about doing the update again? The camera had the update when buying it - but maybe it would help to update once more? and how to do it the best way?

It is normal if your card is empty.

really, you are right - I seem to have tested this only with an empty card! :bang:

Well, my friend tested it yesterday with images on the card, and that jog dial didn't move a bit. We then made a software reset - but afterwards we didn't test again with photos on the card ...

Didn't someone else on this forum send their camera out to have the shutter rebuilt at great expense because their memory card was full and the shutter wouldn't fire?
