How do you guys carry your CLE? I have one in the original zippered pouch bag with the oem strap that keeps a rokkor 40 on it, while the other sits in a Leicatime leather half case with leather strap and usually looks through a leica m 28/2.0, but I pack it with the cv 40 and the leica m 90/2.8 in a mini-domke.
When travelling the 28-clad camera in the half case can easily remain slung around my neck and can be pushed under a coat and held steady while the two other lenses are joined with an old leica dual mount in a coat pocket.
The zippered pouch camera goes in the car with me to work in hopes I will record something earth-shattering going to or from.
I have toyed with the idea of using a wrist strap...the kids new Wii hand units have a very nice locking wrist strap which has prevented damage to both the kids and tv/walls/furniture etc.

Nice set-up, Joel.
Mine goes over my shoulder, lens facing in, on a Nikon strap, the nylon one that flares out to a wider patch of rough-out leather where it crosses the shoulder. The strap is adjusted so I can tension it a bit when the camera is up to my eye.

Nothing is what I want
I transport and store my CLE kit in a no-name, very small camera bag. When I am shooting, I wrap the neck strap around my wrist and away I go, leaving the camera bag in the car; film in my pockets, it is very low tech but effective.

Strangely I think its meant for a digital camera with the little internal pouch for a memory card but it fits well and the raincover is a handy feature. When im taking more than one lens however it all fits in a small lunchbox size Pelican Case

Luigi essential strap and tamrac tec digital.
Inside this small tamrac I can put a second lens, the CLE flash, the remote and the usual cleaning stuff.
Because I dislike the big tamrac strap, I substituted it with the original CLE strap.
I put a lot of effort to optimize the way I carry each camera. I like this solution I developed for the CLE

How many is enough?
Stop thinking so much and go out and shoot some film.

back to basics
Mine wears a modified M-grip with an extra lug. To those two grip lugs I have a thin braided metal neckstrap. I ususally carry the camera over my left shoulder. Stored in a pouch which I think is be made for the digilux 1 .
Tough little travel camera!
