Just thought I'd check in...
My wife and I have moved from "street.shots" Illinois to "life.on.the.farm" Oklahoma. We're living in a two room 100+ year old farm house with NO tv, NO [landline] phone, NO internet. There's also NO police helicopters, NO running gun battles through my front yard, NObody stealing my lawn furniture, and NO druggies-in-a-fog mistakenly knocking on my door at 3 in the morning, etc.
I recently discoverd there are still stars in the sky, I see deer every day, ducks are common along with racoons, cyotes, etc. and the bald eagles will be coming in soon.
I don't miss any of the "NO-stuff" above --- except the internet.
And I've certainly missed hanging out with you guys 'n dolls and frequenting my blog. So I've visited a friend's house and thought I'd drop you note and let you know I'm all good and hope you are too. Most of my cameras are under the bed and once the little domicile is winter-ready, I'll have the time to get them out and find out what the heck there is to photograph around here.
Hopefully, a little technology will come to the farmhouse before too awful long and I'll be around to catch up with everyone here. Til then, good light to all...

It's 3 months later that I dig out this announcement from you. Have been wondering where you are and why did you "dissapear".
I bet it's very peaceful to live in the farm area. Higher calling must be what brought you there. Nevertheless, miss your postings.
