Hello!
I got a Yashica M3 (identic to the better known Minister III) for the reason that it has light leaks.
On the side where it locks the door is elevated about 2-3 mm. It seems not bent but the catch that locks the door could pull the door more.
Is there any possibility given to adjust how much this catch hooks the door? Could I get to it by removing the base plate?
Was a piece of felt glued at the opposite side, where the hinge of the door is? Seems to be from the factory, but maybe some previous owner put it there and therefore the dooer doesn't close as it should. Although I believe this is not the fault.
So, how to do it the door should penetrate more into the grooves s of the camera body? When I apply pressure from outside it goes nicely into the groves and is flush with the back of the body, but it doesn't stay there as the hook that locks it in place doesn't attract it deep enough into the body grooves.
Maybe I should make a picture about the door in locked position.
Greetings.
