hey all
I am shooting with a minolta cle. I've got a 360px flash. the camera says the flash only will sync at 1/60 though I have been setting the flash to ttl, full power and closing down to 16 or 18. then, i accidently shot 1/250 instead of A, which the flash requires.
I got a flash shot, at 1/250, with no curtains visible. Solid exposure. Tried it some more, had it work each time. Is this correct? How is it happening? Will the flash sync at higher shutter speeds than 1/250? Just curious as I can't seem to find anyone that has come across this.

I only used my (official CLE) flash a few times just to test it, but I believe if you shoot in manual, it's just that- everything will be manual. The flash will just be a "dumb" flash, firing with every shutter press. I didn't try it at 1/250, but I definitely did 1/125 and the shot came out just fine. The CLE flash has a scale on the back which I just ballparked, subtracting a stop to adjust and it totally works. Next roll I shoot I'll try it at 1/250 and report back.
You may already have this but https://www.butkus.org/chinon/minolta/minolta_cle/minolta_cle.htm
has the manual for the flash too.
