Vuescan supposedly works fine in Vista, and still supports all the scanners it usually does. Can't comment on the Minolta, but somehow I would expect trouble.

You should be able to go online and check the compatibility of your present syatem with windows Vista. That should flag up if there is a problem with the Minolta. Failing that, why not send Minolta an email and ask?

Minoltas long gone unfortunately and sony knows nothing.
My advice - get a mac. Everything works. I can plug in printers from 2000 and they work perfectly. No irritating driver installations etc.

If it doesn't work with the Minolta drivers, try VueScan. I rescued my Minolta Scan Dual (I) SCSI scanner that way in XP. Haven't tried it in Vista yet.
