I've picked up a Minolta Freedom Escort and it should be here in about a week. I based my decision on the pics that I've seen on some of the sharing sites. It seems to have a decent lens on it. While trying to find out additional info on the camera, I ran across a couple of references that this camera is the same as the Leica Mini. Is this the case? I have seen similar cameras under Fuji, Nikon and Panasonic. Were these all based on the same camera? Does anyone have any additional info on the camera or personal experiences to share about the Freedom Escort?
