Anyone here know where I can get info on lens disassembly on a Minolta Himatic 9?...I just got one off oBoy & it has a sticky aperture...It also needs new light seals, but I've done that before & still have part of a kit from Jon here on the group...I am just looking for maybe some pics showing how to take it apart & re-assemble. I'm assuming a couple of washes with Ronsonal should clean off the blades...Any other tips would be appreciated....
The camera still had a roll of GAF 64 slide film in it...

Correction...

Correction...

I just realized that it's not the aperture blades that are sticky, It's the shutter blades...I was checking it out some more & set the shutter to B setting & then I noticed the aperture blades behind the shutter blades when I held the shutter open...So....The question remains the same but the subject changes...

The flushing rarely works (for long) IMO, especially if you allow the gunk from the mechanism to get onto the shutter blades.

I think I have the HiMatic9 service manual somewhere on my computer at home. Will check for you. I used it to help ease a HiMatic7 I went thru last year. The Seiko shutter needed to come completely apart in this case.
