Hello,

I've an issue with my Minolta Hi-Matic F. I did some measurement and noticed that Minolta draws current even if it is not on - not wound. This is what I've measured:

1) not wound, lens cover on - 7,5 mA
2) not wound, lens cover off - 7,3 mA
3) wound, lens cover on - 25,6 mA
4) wound, lens cover off - 26,5 mA
5) shutter button half-pressed - 24,5 mA
6) shutter button fully pressed - 8,1 mA

Minolta had the well known issue with the negative wire. I resoldered that. Battery check works. Measuring of light works. Shutter speed changes with the light intensity. For batteries I use 2xLR44.

Is it normal that in not wound state (no matter of lens cover) it draws almost 8 mA? One additional thing happened to me twice. When I pressed the shutter button fully and released it, the red light was still on. It looked like something was stuck. I had to rewound the camera and then the red light went off. Can it be a solenoid issue?

Thanks for any idea.
