Minox 35 AF Question

I've recently become the owner of a Minox 35 AF. I played around with it and perused the user manual before loading up a roll and deciding to take it out for the day. I've noticed what might be a quirk in its behaviour: there is no half press to determine focus and/or exposure. I went back over the manual and there isn't any mention of it there, either. So, basically, I put the autofocus circle on what I want and press away? Anyone else with any insight?

Hi prisoner nr6, yes that is how it works. On a German Minox site they mentioned the complaint of "shutter lag". After release it will focus and klick.
