Mju-II: is this lens flare or light leak?

I'm not sure which - can anyone identify these? Doesn't appear in all frames:

I don't think a lens would flare if you're shooting your own shadow. Check the seals around the back door. Are they in good condition?

Leaks from film door side are red on color neg (when scanned/printed)?

In any case, Mju is prone to this defect. My Mju Zoom has very similar issue.

Bizarre, as it is not in the same place each time as a light leak would normally be. Almost looks like the film has been damaged or kinked. Could be a light leak but doesn't look like flare. Both my Mju ii have never had a problem with flare.

Thanks very much guys for your thoughts. Light seals look good (rubber gasket) so I think this is the seals around the extending lens segments. I'm still a bit puzzled that it (the leak) should be in that location in the vertical framed photo.
