Monocular Suggestions for Light Birding/Trail Walks

Looking for some suggestion for a good quality monocular.

I do have a pair of Leitz Binos: 10x25 and 8x42 - but am looking for something small in a monocular form-factor that I can pick up and use around the house - e.g., watching birds feeding on my deck - and for trail walks.

I am am aware of the Leica 8x20 Monovid bit not looking to spend that much money.

One brand I am looking at is Vortex:

Vortex Optics Solo Monocular 8x25

Vortex Optics Solo R/T 8x36 Monocular

Still perusing some of the birding forums.

Any other suggestions appreciated.

I decided the get the Vortex Solo 8x36 (not the R/T version). Came in the mail yesterday and it's a nice piece of glass. I'm going to enjoy looking at the birds through these and bringing them along on my nature walks.

B&H has them for a good price:
