Hi!
I am moving to Japan for 4 months, and may have to sell my M8 for financial reasons. Simple question: are used M8 easy to sell in Japan, and how are prices for used bodies compared to Europe?
Trying to decide whether to sell it before I go or whether I can still easily decide once there.

You'd probably would have access to only used camera shops, not private buyers, and they want only really clean cameras. Probably sell it right here on RFF before you go? That's my 10 yen of advice.

You can sell in Japan through Yahoo auction, but you need to be verified. The stores will rip you off a treat. I sold one recently that was perfect, only had 700 shutter actuations, came with absolutely everything for 240,000¥ But on average I would expect about 180,000 for one. Everyone wants the M9 or the MP here.

Thanks! Hm, 18000 yen is about the same I would get here, I paid 1690 Euro/17500 yen for mine a year ago.
May think twice now and hold on until I absolutely have to let go from this gem.
