MP Anthracite Paint

I'd like to repaint my Leica in a paint similar to the one used on the recent MP Anthracite (http://www.leica-camera.us/photography/special_editions/leica_mp_anthracite/).

As far as I can tell, I should be looking for a fine-grained paint, silver gray in color. Any suggestions as to which brand would yield the closest result? Thanks!

A bit OT, but your thread got my thinking... why not apply a layer of Rhino Lining on the camera? That would make the finish more durable than any Leicas in history.

Hmmm, that is nice, but that Titanium M7 looks even better. I could just see the scene as I explain to my wife that "...it is 13% lighter than a normal M7 body, and it will make me a less fatigued photographer." Somehow I doubt it would go over well at my working class dwelling.

But someday....perhaps?

I really like the look of that anthracite paint, that said I dont think it would be too hard, there are some places online that you can find that will do it for you

Thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking about a light grey spray, followed by a matt spray varnish. I'm not sure how metallic the end-result would be though.
