Well, not really mine, but it is for me to sort out :)

I basically work at a local film lab and I can't stop looking through the canister bins for any new films.

There are other "rare" ones on display in the shop but I think I'm going to build them the ultimate film display.

Really interesting, there are quite a few from a bygone time.

Kodachrome 64 did have different designs. The EU prepaid last batch had a really nice yellow-red design with stripes at the edges. Dropped a note to get one back but alas, didn't happen.

Conspicuous by its absence.

I have not forgotten about this, but I doubt anyone where I am even has even shot Kodachrome! No one is going to have this unless I buy one off eBay. :p

There's another display outside the shop with more canisters but my plan is to merge every thing into one awesome display.

Ooooo I'll have a look around on eBay.
I did shoot Kodachrome before it ended but I never got the canister.
As a graphic designer, yes I'm interested in the designs of these little things too :)

I like the old painted canisters, especially Kodak, and have a number of them but not organized nicely like your cassette collection.

Against my better judgement I do reload some factory cassettes just because I like them. BTW, the old (80's maybe barely into 90's) Ilford cassettes are reloadables. I have a handful of FP4 cassettes I got with outdated film in the early 90's and still use regularly for whatever 125'ish film I'm currently shooting.

Nice Sara! I've seen houses built out of bottles (and concrete).

Coffee and end tables out of film cans?

Maybe you can find some sort of plastic channels at the hardware store to mount them in. Screw the channels to a board, and then clip the canisters in.
