Development of my own film that is. Kodak TMax 3200 in Ilford Ilfotec DDX at 11 minutes.
Sorry no images yet, but the scanner is due (allegedly) to arrive later today, so will post as soon as. The negs look OK, quite contrasty with lots of detail, but time will tell.
All went pretty well, only minor problems like the film sticking in the reel half way, and the film rebate coming away from the guides, but I coped with that OK. The actual development went fine, and I probably spent far too much time setting up, so will be quicker next time.
Why the TMax? well it was lying around, and I knew the stuff on there wasn't too critical. It's Delta 400 next, so should prove an interesting contrast.
I feel great!

It's kind of like riding a bike, isn't it? You never forget. Congrats. I recently had the same experience. Funny how I liked the smell of the chemicals ...

Yup, the smell of fixer is redolent of the darkroom for sure. And to be honest nothing much has changed.
Anyway, now the good news. My scanner did arrive on wednesday (separate post needed!) and so I have now completed the circle. I can shoot, develop, scan and print. Hooray!!!
And without further ado, here is a sample or two of my first film, scanned on the Minolta Scan Dual IV. Grain the size of small meteoroids actually, which would no doubt end all civilisation on this planet should they rain down from outer space, but nonetheless a pleasing result.
Shooting details CV Bessa L & 12mm Heliar Superwide (love that lens) TMax 3200 @11min in Ilford Ilfotec LC29. Exposure, er dunno.
