My first real results with this amazing lens on the RD-1, I was a little worried about focusing etc, having read some of the other posts on the forum.
I had no problems with static objects but I agree that trying to follow focus with the lens was quite a task. Overall I am Very please with the results.
Now I have to learn about enhancing/adjusting the images.
BTW all these images have had no manipulation at all, shot raw then conveted to Jpegs and thats it!!

Album is at :

Thanks
Mike.

I would say you did a very good job with it!

A picture of the RD-1 with the Noctilux would look good in the camera and coffee thread.

I'm testing one of these lenses right now and it just requires very careful focusing on any camera. F/1 leaves a person almost zero margin for error.

Cheers,

Sean

Nice shots, Mike. The Noctilux has become perhaps my most used lens with the R-D1, along with the Tri Elmar. Even when I was having the focus problems that DAG corrected, I still could use the Nocti in the 1 - 2 meter range very accurately. F/1.0 at ISO 1600 makes the impossible possible.
