Hey guys, I believe this would be my first time posting in this forum. Briefly about my cameras, I have a 40D for weddings and a Gaoersi 617 for panos. Lately i've been getting bored of shooting in digital and just recently acquired a complete Xpan II kit with the 45mm lens and center filter.
I've shot a roll of Delta 400 but haven't had the time to develop that yet but the Velvia was sent to the labs
This is the first roll i've seen from this camera and I wasn't aware that the rectangle frame in the viewfinder is the exposure area :bang:
Here's my first roll of Velvia goodness
1.
2.
Yes, that is my tripod in the corner
3.
4.
This is the wrongly composed one - I thought the whole view of the viewfinder was the exposure area
Looks like the need for the super wide 30mm is inevitable!
5.
6.
Vertical one thrown in for variation
Thanks for looking guys, hope you enjoyed them all!

The colors look a bit too unrealistic for my liking, but i do however like those compositions.

I've got several other rolls of Velvia which I haven't sent for processing yet, been busy with other work lately.
Let's just say i'm obsessed with the panoramic format hence why I have both a 617 and the Xpan. The Xpan allows more mobility and ease of use compared to the 617, however I do love the 617 when I do some 'real' landscape work. These shots are just mucking around with the Xpan and my main intention for getting it is to use as a travel point and shoot and to produce something different for weddings
