I'm so happy! just got the first roll back, came out perfectly metered / focused from my GT / GTN hybrid!

Perfect condition of early GT (notice the notch), being paired with the GTN lens, and GSN meter (ASA setting up to 1000)!

I'm interested in your creation. What parts came from what camera? You did it to get the ASA 1000 capability?

A fine looking frankenstein camera! Please share some more test pics.

The work is very simple, but I screwed up once if you read my post couple months ago on mating G with GS parts (use the front element from the GSN on the G lens and couldn't get to the focus correctly, but the meter was right on).

Any how, for this project, I had an early GT with a bad lens (stuck shutter) and obviously with an old meter that only go up to ASA 500.

The donor is an beat up GTN with damaged meter/rangefinder, but the lens and shutter is perfect. Second donor is a GSN meter+rangefinder.

The rest is just removing and putting back together, matching wire, replace the POD, calibrate the rangefinder (tedious). and bam! I used the ASA 800 for the test roll, the picture came out perfectly metered perfectly focused... if you want some detail, email me.

I forgot one last detail, I also used the battery test from the GTN which I moved the light to the frame counter, which is really cool...
