Cleaned up the outsides, put new light seals inside, and stuck in a battery. Seems to work pretty well, although I'm sure there's some error in the exposure value, since the battery is a 625 (1.5v). This was shot in my somewhat darkish house by available (window) light.

The lens seems pretty crisp. I'll spend a while getting to be friends with this machine, then turn my attentions to the GIII version. The only thing I found odd about this camera was the battery testing arrangment. The button to press is right under your face, making it hard to see the needle deflect from the normal eye-to-the-viewfinder position. Then again, it's hardly necessary, anyhow.

Regards!
