I just got a Fuji 690 from KEH, is a second hand unit so there is no manual with it.
Camera is by well built and the control are layout in a fairly logical manner, but I found one feature that has me perplex
, it does not take much.
Next to the lens on the right side there is a lever that when in place cover a letter L, if move to the right the L becames visible, what is that for?
Thanks
Hugh

I have three ideas:
-multiple exposure lock
-flash sync selector
-google
Hope it helps!

Re: My new Texas Leica
Hugh,
I have a Fujica G690, and it has a switch on the lens barrel itself, which is what I presume you mean. I believe it controls the X-sync, M-sync, or delayed shutter, but it does not say "L" on it. That's my recollection, my G690 is at home. I'll check it again this evening.
Best Regards,
