Here's one--I loved the pictures! I am amazed at the sheer variety of "stuff" there.
The photos that really stand out for me are the portraits--the close ups of the vendors and other folks there. They are REALLY great!
Thanks for the files..

Nice images Joe, perhaps my favorite of the set:
Sorry Joe, your Flickr settings are different than mine, I can't get a working link to the image!
It's the one titled 'reading'

Some very good shots Joe. Particularly like the B&Ws on the first page - some great subject isolation and good use of light and good environmental portraits. The tone on the harpist shots is a bit strange though. Love the ripe tomatoes.

Nice set. Sorry, but what are you shooting with? I probably should know, but don't.
BTW, is that you lying under the car?

currently shooting with fuji xe1 and various fuji lenses but these were shot with other gear also…including rd1 with cv/zm lenses…i think some film gear also.
not me under the car…was another dummy…
the light changes with the seasons…also inside goes from very bright to [retty dark depending on lacation inside the building, an old transit bus barn.
it's been great fun so far.

Some nice stuff there Joe. Especially like the people pics. The B&W shots are nicely done. Looks like a good way to pass a Saturday morning.

In one morning you took enough photographs to receive an A in 2 Graduate Photography classes. Comments? I don't think you need any. You should be providing advice to others on how to take such capable and descriptive photographs. Your photographs are overwhelmingly excellent.

Very good work. I particularly enjoyed the B&W's.
I go to an equivalent place every Saturday too in my part of France. I'll have to dare and take pictures of the many interesting faces there. We still have quite a few stalls of sellers who grow their own, even if they are in dwindling numbers, and the age average of the buyers is quite high.

I've gotta admire your tenacity, Joe. I like your images and, even more, I like the fact that you use your gear to make images. As opposed to just talking about the gear. I'm just a noob and I find it a little off-putting to post images and have the thread die with little, if any, activity. I know folks have other things on their minds but even a 'wow, your images suck, dude' would be something.
Having said all that, I realize this is a 'gear' forum.

I prefer the colour ones. The black and white doesnt work for me. When I think farmers market, I think colour. Everything looks the same. Food is colourful.
