A master Technika is a pretty nice starter camera. I had to start with a pacemaker crown when I was 16. I didn't get my Master T until I was 25.

Great memories! I hope he indeed does develop a liking for photography in general, and film in particular.

In a few years he can move up to 5x7 and then 8x10. But watch out when he finds out about 11x14 and girls...
As long as he doesn't get married at 16x20.

Get him interested early, then as you get older he can carry your kit along with his own, it will make him big and strong.
